Job Description:
The Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible to implement and execute our playbook /methodology for bringing newly acquired companies (or their assets) into our financial systems and converting their financial processes to our financial processes. This role’s focus is on managing and executing system and process implementation projects on strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who has strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Subsequent to the acquisition of a new company or of a company’s assets, deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities (project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, storyboarding, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, risk identification and mitigation, and team leadership):
- Work with accounting and business operations teams to define the plan and requirements for system implementations.
- Drive the evaluation, design, configuration, and testing of specific integration and implementation projects.
- Act as the primary customer facing contact during the integration project
- Lead the implementation of accounting systems and connected tools at recently acquired subsidiaries and corporate.
- Provide T1 support to the accounting team and other stakeholders for systems related issues and requests in relation to integrations.
- Analyze, modify, and document existing process documentation in relation to the system, processes and SOP’s.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Technology, other technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Project Management experience or certification.
- Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of business function(s), business operations and processes.
- Proven hypothesis-based problem-solving skills and analytical rigor.
- Flexibility and adaptability on work assignments, including a willingness and ability to learn new skills or subjects.
- Attention to details.
- Strong structured oral and written communication skills.
- Finance or accounting integration/implementation experience is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar financial system is an asset.
