About the role: 

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the accounting operations across different legal entities. This role offers hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, monthly closings, payroll, audits, and tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Expectations from the role:

• Support the team in preparing sales invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
  
• Record and process journal entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting records per entity.
  
• Draft and record vendor bills in Odoo, calculate applicable WHT, and prepare payment run schedules.
  
• Support tax filing preparation (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP) and ensure compliance with applicable tax and zakat regulations.
  
• Prepare required documentation, schedules, and reconciliations to support internal and external audits.
  
• Maintain proper filing systems and financial documentation segregated per entity.
  
• Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
  
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned by management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 0 – 1 year of accounting experience.
  
• Strong attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Good English and Arabic proficiency (written and spoken).
