Job Description

• Lead and supervise accounting activities related to operational assets and related expenses.
•  Establish and maintain financial controls over operational costs such as fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance, licenses, and spare parts.
• Review and approve invoices, payments, and journal entries related to operational activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, KPIs, and variance analysis versus budgets.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to projects, cost centers, and assets.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for operational costs.
• · Coordinate with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and applicable regulations.
• Manage, coach, and evaluate accounting staff, ensuring performance and development.
• Support audits by providing required data, explanations, and documentation.
• Provide management with financial insights and recommendations to optimize costs and asset utilization.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 9+ years of accounting experience, including managerial or supervisory exposure.
• Strong experience in cost control and asset-related accounting.
• Proficient in accounting systems/ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
