Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording,
verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Responsible for moderately complex general
ledger related accounting functions including prepaid and accrual journal entries and reconciliations
that require estimates. The duties require that strict deadlines must be met with respect to monthly
closings, tax & insurance payments, and internal management reporting. S/He shall provide the
management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, comparing budget
to actuals, and assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances. S/He will
ensure that the company’s accounting procedures and bookkeeping conform to the policies and
procedures of Innovvette and the Egyptian accounting principles and guidelines. S/He is
accountable to immediately report any deviations from agreed-upon standards, and to suggests
plans for rectification & correction in areas needing improvement.

Job Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally
  Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS accounting requirements. 
• Experience with general ledger functions.
   Strong attention to detail and effective analytical abilities with a high degree of resilience,
  and robust capability to manage multiple tasks.
•  Remarkable professional work ethics & business sense, demonstrating honesty, integrity and
  commitment to confidentiality. 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide
  range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to self-motivate, establish priorities, work independently and proceed with achieving
  objectives & meeting deadlines with minimum supervision.
