Job: Accounting Officer

Location: Amman - Jordan

Industry: Industrial Minerals / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all accounting operations and recording and keeping the day-to-day financial movements transaction.

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

• Support month-end and year-end close process.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Liaise with external vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a reputable organization.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing sector workflows.

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Native Arabic speaker with excellent professional English.

• Solid experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process.

• Ability to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure.

• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and reliable follow-up.

• Demonstrates confidentiality, professional communication, and independent decision-making.
